Rebecca Davis is the national features editor and a news journalist reporting on international, national, state and community stories at The Australian Jewish News.
With a love for storytelling, Rebecca is passionate about sharing stories which move, inspire, or evoke thought, and is committed to shining a light on topics often relegated to the margins. She has written extensively in the areas of gender equality, mental health and LGBTQI and also has a special interest in reporting on stories of complex identity, conflict and coexistence between Israelis and Palestinians, and the global increase of antisemitism.
Rebecca was the journalist who broke the story of antisemitic bullying in Victorian state schools which went viral worldwide in October 2019. In 2020, Rebecca led a special investigation into the experiences of Jewish women in Jewish organisations, unearthing alarming findings around gender-based discrimination.
